As the Story Goes…

Lane Pittman decides to battle the brutal wind and rain to the subtle tunes of Slayer in what would become one of the most viral nine second Florida Man clips in history.
Cut to the head Foo himself Dave Grohl catching a glimpse of said clip a telling his manager to get me a shirt with that kid on it. With Lane and I sharing a mutual friend who just happens to run a screen printing shop the connection was made. I had four hours that night to turn the design around and get it to print the next day. We printed it and sent it off and that was that. Exactly one month later I open up Billboard Magazine to see the photo above. As apprehensive as I was about the whole thing the first and only thing I could think of was that my grandma, who really didn’t want to buy me Nevermind because of the cover but still did, would be smiling down on me everlong.
